Homes24 is built on Rosetta's new .Net platform System 7. The site incorporates a range of powerful new features which have been designed to improve the user experience for both buyers and estate agents.

Flexible searching
For most users, of course, location is the most important factor in choosing a home. The Homes24 website shows results in two ways: as a ranked list of matching properties, enhanced with photos and clustered by criteria.

Rosetta wins pitch
Following its decision to outsource major web development projects, Archant Ltd held a competitive pitch which led to selection of Rosetta as the preferred supplier for the new property portal. Homes24 also makes extensive use of Ajax technology to deliver faster, smoother interactive searching using Google Maps. These show POI information (Points Of Interest) similar to the icons displayed by car navigation systems to indicate estate agency branches, local schools, hospitals and transport etc.
